Skyrim works great on my Mac, but through a wine/wrapper version? I suppose, one you could find on the net, fully updated and all DLCs included. As long as you paid the Skyrim license by buying the PC game with all its DLCs, I don't see why playing Skyrim on a Mac could be illegal.

Run the Game and Steam as Administrator

Run windows on mac with bootcamp. To run the game as an Administrator:

1. Right-click The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition in your Steam Library.
2. Select Propertiesand then the Local Files tab.
3. Click Browse Local Files.
4. Locate the game executable (the application).
5. Right-click it and go to Properties.
6. Click the Compatibility tab.
